1 Before disassembly
Things required:
a. CW board
b. CW license key disk
Note1: Certain ESD protection is needed.
Electro Static Discharge is very harmful to the boards inside the system. Please adopt certain
measures to protect the boards from ESD especially in dry environment.
Note2: DO NOT cut off the cable hoops
There are many cable hoops attached to the shield covers. Please DO NOT cut them off, otherwise, it may
influence the cable layout when you assemble the system.
Note3: Make sure it should be especially careful when you unplug part from
other part and do the reverse.

2 Open the machine
Before you can see the inner structure of DC-3, please remove the Rear Cover.
Step 1: Remove all the Silicon Rubber Caps on the Rear Cover
Step 2: Remove all the Screws on the Rear Cover
Note: there are three Screws at the bottom of the Rear Cover.

Now you can see I/O interface and AC Power Input Module.

Step 4: Remove six screws on both side of the module

Step 5: Rotate the panel in the indicated direction
Step 6: Remove the three screws on the right side of the I/O Interface module.

Step 7: Rotate the panel in the indicated direction
Step 8: Disconnect the soft cable before you take out the panel
Please remove
the fragile cable
carefully, and

Step 9: Then we can list up the module and pull it out

Remove three screws
Pull out front bottom cover

Remove plastic caps and screws on both sides of the front cover

3 Adding CW board
Add the CW board to its place like following picture.
Be careful of the slot that they fix themselves.

4 CW software installation
(1) Press [Setup] key [System] menu [Option] menu
CW software installed
(2) Select CW
(3) Click ‘Install’ menu
(4) Run the license key file in driver F:
(5) System info ‘ install success’.
PS: the license key file is unique related with Serial number and Mac address.
Congratulations, now you have Continuous Wave Doppler.
In CW mode, kindly use phased array transducer 2P2 to do scanning.
