Dear Simon,
The new school year starts next month. That means
basketball practice starts again soon. Yippee!
Mum and I have to shop for some new clothes next
5 week. I’m 137 cm tall now! My school uniform and jeans don’t
fit anymore. I also need a pair of new trainers for basketball.
I’m fat too. I eat one hamburger and one packet of French
fries every day! Mum isn’t happy. She says I can’t eat them
anymore. She wants me to eat more fruit and vegetables.
10 Let me tell you about my new friends. I met them at my
learning centre. Jimmy is friendly. He is teaching me how to
play football. Terry is a good boy. He always helps Mr Fong
carry heavy books.
It’s Mum’s birthday today. Dad has a day off. We’ll
15 watch a film and have a buffet dinner afterwards. I have to go
