The Philippine Clean Air Act established a national program to manage air pollution with an emphasis on avoidance and public awareness campaigns. This has helped improve air quality. 2. The Ecological Solid Waste Management Act established provisions for effective solid waste management including reduction, recycling, and environmentally-sound disposal facilities. This has led to better solid waste management practices. 3. The National Water and Air Pollution Control Commission Act established standards for water and air purity to be utilized for lawful purposes. This has helped protect water and air resources in the Philippines.
