ABBREVIATIONS (US TERMS)


sc - single crochet
MR - magic ring inc - increase (2 sc in 1 stitch)
st/lp - stitch/loop dec - decrease (2 sc together)
ch - chain (...)*n times - repeat those in brackets
sl st - slip stitch n-times

MATERIALS AND TOOLS


* This list contains the materials used to make the presented eggs.
You can use other materials at your discretion.

Yarn: any smooth yarn of any structure, - the 1,5 mm hook or of the other size,
any thickness and color. matching for your yarn;
Used yarn: cotton/acrylic yarn - a tapestry needle with a blunt end
160m/50g (Sport weight yarn 4ply). for sewing of the details;
- a thin needle with a wide eye for
Sizes in height: small egg - 4,8 cm (1.9”), embroidering (optional);
big egg - 6,5 cm (2.55”), if using - colored threads for embroidering
the recommended yarn . (optional);
- stitch marker or thread to point
the end of the row;
- scissors, polyester fiberfill.

ATTENTION: this crochet pattern does not contain the crochet lessons.
You should have the main skills in crocheting. Skill level - for beginners.

SMALL EGG

Crochet MR or 2 ch.

1 rnd: 6 sc (6 st)
2 rnd: 6 inc (12 st)
3 rnd: (3 sc, inc)*3 times (15 st)
4 rnd: 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc)*2 times, 2 sc (18 st)
5 rnd: (5 sc, inc)*3 times (21 st)
6 rnd: 3 sc, inc, (6 sc, inc)*2 times, 3 sc (24 st)
7 rnd: (7 sc, inc)*3 times (27 st)
8 rnd: 4 sc, inc, (8 sc, inc)*2 times, 4 sc (30 st)
9-11 rnd: 3 rows - 30 sc in each row (30 st)
12 rnd: (13 sc, dec)*2 times (28 st)
13 rnd: (5 sc, dec)*4 times (24 st)
14 rnd: 2 sc, dec, (4 sc, dec)*3 times, 2 sc (20 st)
Stuff the egg.
15 rnd: (3 sc, dec)*4 times (16 st)
16 rnd: 1 sc, dec, (2 sc, dec)*3 times, 1 sc (12 st)

Stuff the egg completely.


Cut a thread, leaving enough thread for tightening. Tighten the left 12 stitches
through the front loops only, hide the thread. It is ready!

Crochet MR or 2 ch.

1 rnd: 6 sc (6 st)
2 rnd: 6 inc (12 st)
3 rnd: (3 sc, inc)*3 times (15 st)
4 rnd: 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc)*2 times, 2 sc (18 st)
5 rnd: (5 sc, inc)*3 times (21 st)
6 rnd: 3 sc, inc, (6 sc, inc)*2 times, 3 sc (24 st)
7 rnd: (7 sc, inc)*3 times (27 st)
8 rnd: 4 sc, inc, (8 sc, inc)*2 times, 4 sc (30 st)
9 rnd: (9 sc, inc)*3 times (33 st)
10 rnd: 5 sc, inc, (10 sc, inc)*2 times, 5 sc (36 st)
11-15 rnd: 5 rows - 36 sc in each row (36 st)
16 rnd: (7 sc, dec)*4 times (32 st)

Stuff the egg.

Stuff the egg completely.
