I. PROJECT TITLE:
13th Graduation Rites of Sen. Renato “Compañero” Cayetano Memorial
Science and Technology High School
II. RATIONALE
The Department of Education (DepEd) issued DepEd Order (DO) no. 9 series of 2023
“An Order Updating the Multi-year Implementing Guidelines on the Conduct of the K to
12 Basic Education Program End-of-School-Year Rites”. In relation, the said event will
be held not earlier than July 10, 2023 and not later than July 14, 2023. In addition,
it also emphasizes its theme: “Gradweyt ng K to 12: Hinubog ng Matatag na
Edukasyon (K to 12 Graduates: Molded through a Resilient Educational Foundation)”
that highlights the learners, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders’ resiliency in
overcoming challenges. Furthermore, this order reiterates of various policies about
spending, attire, and venue (DO no. 8 s. 2017), conduct of off-campus activities (DO
no. 66 s. 2017), the Department service marks and visual identity (DO no. 31 s.
2019), awards and recognitions (DO no. 36 s. 2016), electioneering and partisan
political activities (DO no. 48 s. 2018), and contributions.
In appreciation of the exemplary performance of the learners for the past four years
in Junior High School and two years in Senior High School, the school prepares the
most awaited event of their life – the Moving up and Graduation Ceremony. With
these events, the school also fosters unity among the stakeholders and thanksgiving
for their unending support to the school activities local and international.
III. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
This project aims to:
1. Provide learners with a one-day event appreciating their contributions to the
success of the school and the DepEd in providing and delivering excellence
and high-quality education for all.
2. Celebrate the unending support of the learners, parents, teachers, and other
stakeholders in the triumph of their duties and responsibilities in the
education sector and for the future of the country.
3. Reminisce all the remarkable experiences in the past four years in Junior
High School and two years in Senior High School
