your chairs and arrange you desks”
c) Statement of the Objectives
“Okay so, everyone read our goals for “(Altogether) Our objectives for today
today” are to describe Conjunctions and the
difference between its three types,
Construct sentences using various
conjunction and to classify different
conjunctions in text.”
“Right before we accomplish that, let me
know first if you still remember our former
lecture”
d) Reviewing of Past Lessons
“So let us now review our previous lesson, “It was about Preposition sir”
What was our topic all about yesterday?”
“Very good, as we have learned yesterday,
A preposition is a word such as after, in,
to, on, and with. Prepositions are usually
use in front of nouns or pronouns and they
show the relationship between the noun or “Yes sir!”
pronoun and other words in a sentence.
Understand?”
B. Developmental Activities
a) Motivational Activity “YEY! What is it sir?”
“Students, I have arrange a very fun game
for you guys”
“Were going to shout sir?”
“It’s called: (flashes the PPT at the
whiteboard) SHOUT IT OUT LOUD!”
“Yes sir Got it!”
“Nope, not necessarily although at some
point it is unavoidable. But do not shout
too loudly, We might disturb other classes
OK?”
“Then here’s the mechanics, I need 4
volunteers from each side. It will be Group
1 vs Group 2. (play rock, paper, and
scissors to decide the first players)”
Rules:
>> Each members will wear
headphones/earphones for the game.
>> Students must not hear any sound from
the class.
>> Members of the game must form a line.
>> The first person in the line must read
the word on the board for 5 seconds while
his/her other classmates are facing
backwards.
>> The player then needs to say/shout
lightly the word and pass it on his/her
members.
>> If the guess word was transfer out
smoothly until the last person then it is a
win.
>> The winners are those who could
guessed most of the words.
“That was fun ma’am. Thank you.”
“Congrats to the winners, I hope you
enjoyed it”
“You’re welcome; now let’s proceed with
our proper lecture for today.”
b) Analysis “It is to connect words or sentences.”
“What do you think is the use of those
words earlier in our game?”
“Very well said. Just like how we use
staplers, glue, or paste to attach things
together, We use Conjunctions to bond
words, sentences, paragraphs and even
clauses.”
“The dependent and independent sir”
“What are the two types of clauses?”
“Yes that right, now let’s learn about the
different types of conjunction and its uses”
c) Abstraction (students raises hands)
“Does anyone likes to read?”
(reads)
“The first one is coordinating conjunction; “Yes! sir”
you are all familiar with FANBOYS
right?”
“This one is the simplest connector among
the three because we can use it in any
independent sentences or clauses”
“Could you please explain further sir?”
“Basically, if the sentences or clauses have
the complete thought, you just have to put
a coma however if one of them are
independent we need to use conjunction
rather than a coma or semicolon. Next
conjunction…”
“Certainly sir”
“In other words, the clauses can be in any
order in a sentence as long as the
Subordinating conjunction comes before
the dependent clause. You got it? ”
IV. ASSESSMENT
