Statement of Purpose

Introduction:
Nestled amidst the lively streets of Bikash Chowk in the busy city of Bharatpur, I, Miraj Dura,
made the decision to head out for an academic journey filled with passion and determination to
United Kingdom. Born on October 26 in 2003, I was brought up with the virtues of hard work
and ambition by my loving parents 'Mr. Hari bahadur Dura' and 'Mrs. Mina Dura'. As I grew, so
did my dreams, and it was my everlasting interest in business that set my path. Thus, with my
parents' constant encouragement, who had sacrificed thousands of hours to nurture my growth
and education, I took my steps in pursuing a BSc (Hons) degree in Business Management at the
University Of Roehampton London, United Kingdom. It has been more than a journey of
learning, though; it has equally borne witness to love and sacrifice for those who have kept me
going, believing in me in everything I do, hurling me into the future: a future so hopeful and full
of opportunity.
Academic Background/ Gap Explanation:
My educational pursuit began at Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya, where I developed tenacity and
discipline. After completing my SEE in 2020, I entered the same institution's intermediate
program and graduated with an excellent 3.03 GPA in the National Examination Board's
management faculty.
After working as a sales representative at Bharatpur Marbles and Enterprises on account that
November five, 2022, I pursued the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and
executed a pleasant common score of 6.0 on February 11, 2023. Despite a visa rejection for
Ireland on June five, 2024, I remained undeterred. I diligently explored opportunity look at

and they have limited access to hands-on education. The traditional curriculum and political
instability also contribute to the lack of proper education in remote areas. The degree obtained in
Nepal is narrow and lacks the necessary skills for real-life situations.
Why University of Roehampton London?
Opting for a school in the United Kingdom was a major call for me and after doing some research I
realized that the University of Roehampton in London was just what I needed. This institution which
can be found in Southwest London has modern facilities which are among the best anywhere not
forgetting how much they care about their students whether international or local. Another thing that

After year 10 I got interested in business so I pursued management faculty in my high school studies.
As I went along my interest in business grew more and more so I chose Business as my major
Now, I am going to study for a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business Management, which is a
complete undergraduate course that will fulfill the requirements of the corporate world.

BSc (Hons) in Business is so designed that it could inculcate an insight regarding the business world in
students, along with which the skills acquired in the process help an individual to work in almost all
kinds of industries. Its multidisciplinary approach covers a wide range of topics in finance, marketing,
HR, and business consulting so that the graduates are well prepared for the complex challenges of
entrepreneurship. The decision for which I will apply to justify the background of this study is the
huge growth it is showing in the industry globally. Thanks to rapid advances in technology and
globalization, businesses are expanding at an unprecedented rate creating more and more employment
opportunities. Moreover, it is very attractive that its cost does not come up to the other degrees. After
this program, I should have attained the right and necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the
business worl. Additionally, the relatively low cost of education compared to other degrees makes it a

growing in Business related fields. I am more interested in learning and utilizing all the learned
expertise in my own country and contribute to the Business sector of my own country. Finding a
job back here in Nepal won’t be a problem for me as Nepal gives more priority to the
international and foreign graduates rather than the graduates from Nepal. Talking about the
salary structure foreign graduates are more prioritized and given more emphasis and provided
with handsome salary according to the performance, dedication and efficiency of the work. They
will pay a very good amount of income for my skills, ideas and knowledge that I gain from
United Kingdom and I can bring dynamic changes in the organization with the gained skills. I
will earn a little sum of money for a few months’ time but along with my experience I will be
able to earn a lot of money with the help of foreign skills. I will be highly paid for my
international degree and all the gained skills, ideas and knowledge from United Kingdom. I may
work as a Business Development manager, Sales Executive in multi-national companies of Nepal

70000-95000 per month which will gradually increase over time.I am expecting to get my return
my investment in 4-5 years.I also plan to open my own consulting firms in future time.
