“Della had beautiful, long, flowing hair that
she cherished. She wanted to find the perfect
gift for Jim but had very little money. Della
had an idea. She decided to sell her precious
hair in order to buy a meaningful gift for
Jim.”

“In the end, Jim and Della's acts of sacrifice
became a symbol of their deep affection and
devotion for one another. They learned that
the true value of a gift lies not in its material
worth, but in the love and thought behind it.”
