Journal: Types of Research HCM - 440

I would employ the quantitative research approach since it stresses measurable quantities

and statistics, arithmetic, or computational interpretation of the variables gathered through

questionnaires, evaluations, and interviews and modifying pre-existing statistical evidence using

computing tools ("What Is Quantitative Experimental Research?", 2021). Furthermore,

quantitative research is concerned with acquiring statistical information and extrapolating it

across categories of individuals or describing a specific occurrence.

Secondly, quantitative research is concerned with statistics, rationality, and objectivity.

Quantitative research emphasizes quantifiable and stable data and thorough, coherent analysis

over divergent thought processes. As a result, the data is often acquired using organized data

collection instruments ("Types of Quantitative Research | Different Types of Quantitative

Research", 2021). Every part of the study is meticulously planned before the information is

gathered ("Key Elements of a Research Proposal - Quantitative Design", 2021). Similarly, the

main goal of a quantitative research inquiry is to identify traits, quantify them, and build

mathematical hypotheses to justify what is considered.

Thirdly, before beginning a quantitative research proposal, it is important to establish

whether it will be descriptive or experimental. Besides, this will affect how data is collected,

analyzed and interpreted ("LibGuides: Quantitative Research and Analysis: Quantitative

Methods Overview", 2021. In this respect, I will work with the descriptive approach since

descriptive research is governed by the following guidelines: The objective is solely to identify

relationships between variables, and the survey may involve several respondents of hundreds or

even thousands of participants to guarantee that a reasonable approximation of a comprehensive

correlation between variables has been achieved.

Finally, I chose the quantitative approach since I would generate statistical values that

could only be evaluated using analytical and mathematical approaches. Furthermore, I anticipate

applying methodologies such as Likert scales in the course of the research. As a result of

introducing Likert scales and comparable methodologies, most dynamics may now be analyzed

quantitatively.
