Job Title: Project Delivery Manager

Department: Engineering and Maintenance

Accountable to: Project Manager


Responsible for:  Track Renewals Supervisors

Role Objective:  The Project Delivery Manager, manages and administers the delivery of the
Tram Track renewal Project through various delivery methods. These include
but are not limited to professional services contracts, Construct only as well
as Design and Construct Contracts. Ensuring the project is delivered on time
and in budget without causing delays to operational service of the Lusail
Tram
Key Responsibilities:  Manages and develops a project delivery team that understands the
implications of different technical choices, is proactive and service-driven for
the operations
 Provides strategic direction, planning, and managing the development &
implementation of policies, procedures and work instructions for aligning
the department's operations to the committed performance targets to
ensure operational efficiency and performance
 Manage the performance and scope of the project to capture the intended
business value and be accountable for delivering results
 Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant
stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
 Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including
project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications,
timelines, funding, and staffing.
 Monitor and manage project activities and resource workload to ensure
quality and timely delivery of project within budget.
 Track project milestones, deliverables and KPIs.
 Manage projects related to Tram infrastructure, Information Security
products, services, and processes.
 Perform risk management and identify mitigation plans to reduce the risk
impact.
 Evaluate performances of vendors providing services
 Gathering functional or technical specifications where required
 Prepare monthly project status reports for stakeholders and executive
summary for project governance committee.
 Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements
documentation, and presentations to the Client
 Serve as the focal point for all Information security issues and responsible

Job Description
Project Manager
 Manage the delivery of key work packages for track assets (rail and S&C)
across the Lusail Tram Network, from planning to handover, and all
intermediate phases.
 Ensure all projects deliverables meet safety, time, cost, quality, scope, and
other planned objectives consistent with RKH delivery commitments.
 Prepare and manage budgets, schedules and performance reports for
stakeholders
 Prepare project briefs, provide appropriate direction to facilitate the early
resolution of issues, and fulfil the role of the RKH Representative in select
meetings
 managing the administration and delivery of professional services and
internal delivery.
 Ensure the Tram Track Replacement Project is compliant with the relevant
environmental approvals and with any relevant legislation and policy
requirements.
 Provide appropriate regular management reporting to the Project Manager,
Project Sponsor, the client Qatar Rail and other stakeholders reflecting key
risks and issues, performance and progress towards objectives.
 Highlight project Issues and ensure correctives action are taken to address
them. Report and escalate to management as needed
 Coordination of track replacement works and activities between
stakeholders.
 Conduct project review meetings and issue minutes of meeting with clear
action items for responsible stakeholders
 Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
 Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
 Perform risk management to minimise project risks
 Provide appropriate regular management reporting to the Project Manager,
Project Sponsor, the client Qatar Rail and other stakeholders reflecting key
risks and issues, performance and progress towards objectives.

RQHSE Responsibilities:  Promote a positive Quality, Health and Safety, Environment driven culture
always in the workplace and attend any related meetings/briefings as
required within the job role
 Comply with the Company Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental
Policies and Management System Requirements
 In conjunction with the HSE&CSR Manager, ensure that all incidents
including ‘near misses’ are properly reported and recorded to determine the
root causes
 Submission of Hazard observations in accordance with Hazard observation
reporting guidelines

 Ensure that all potential risks that may come from performed activities are
identified and mitigated and ensure that employees, contractors and visitors
are aware of health and safety procedures and any relevant legislation.
 Consider the Health and Safety of other persons who may be affected by
their acts or omissions
 Be mindful that Health and Safety, Quality, Security and Environmental is
everyone’s responsibility and as such ALL staff members are accountable for
reporting and intervening in Health and Safety, Quality, Security and
Environmental violations.

Responsibilities:

Required core skills and  Significant experience in delivering projects in an O&M, service-driven,
experience: complex environment.
 Solid knowledge of Metro & Light Rail operations
 Able to both lead and take a hands-on approach to projects

 Manages teams effectively

 Able to persuade and influence
 Determined and displays tenacity
 Ability to time-manage, set priorities and work to strict deadlines
 Team player - within own team and across the whole organisation
Educational and  Degree in relevant subject. Equivalent work experience will be accepted

Qualifications:  Recognised certification in Project Management preferred
