7 Japara/Raincoat 1 If raining wear it on arrival, otherwise pack it.
Civilian raincoat/jacket to be brought if you
have not been issued one.
8 Echelon bag/Field Pack 1 Depending what you have issued by the unit –
use this bag to pack all items.
9 Undershirt 3 Wearing 1 on arrival and 2 spare for changing
10 Sleeping bag 1
11 Pillow inflatable or small 1
12 Webbing – COMPLETE 1 If you have been issued complete webbing inc 2
x drink bottles and cup canteen. If not refer to
serial 13
13 Small Backpack 1 *Only if you do not have webbing or incomplete
webbing.
Ensure you add to the backpack 1-2 drink
bottles of water totalling 2 litres.
14 Pan set messing & KFS 1 set If issued with webbing. If not, bring a camping
(Knife/Fork/Spoon) plate, bowl and Knife/Fork/Spoon set
15 Pocket knife (OPTIONAL) 1 Ensure the blade is rounded at the edge and no
more than 5cm long
16 Cup plastic 1 For drinking
17 Pants/Shorts PT 1 For relaxing/sleeping. Shorts for females no
shorter than just above the knees.
18 Shirt PT 1 For relaxing/sleeping. Short or long sleeve.
Females not to have any low cut/cropped shirts.
19 Jumper PT 1 For relaxing/sleeping
