The LGBT Studies Fellowship at Yale University is offered annually, and is designed to provide access to Yale resources in LGBT Studies for scholars
who live outside the greater New Haven area. This fellowship supports scholars from any field pursuing research in lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender, and/or queer studies at Yale University, utilizing the vast faculty resources, manuscript archives, and library collections available at
Yale.
The Postdoc will serve as Managing Editor, facilitating peer-review and publication processes, creating content for social media and newsletters,
and participating in projects such as faculty peer mentorship, grant writing, and strategic planning. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a relevant
field, a strong commitment to social justice, and experience in journalism, editing, or publishing is preferred. The position may be remote with
occasional travel required.
The Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts is accepting applications for its 2025-2028 fellowship competition, offering fellowships in various
disciplines including Humanistic Studies and LGBT Studies. Eligible candidates are recent Ph.D. graduates (post-January 1, 2023) with exceptional
scholarly achievements and teaching experience. The Society encourages applications from a diverse and international pool, particularly from
underrepresented backgrounds.
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake
international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide. The program awards
more than 2,200 grants annually in all fields of study, and operates in about 140 countries worldwide. All students and recent alumni are
encouraged to consider this great opportunity, whether as part of your academic program or outside of it.
Fellows are late-stage Ph.D. candidates completing original, interesting, and interdisciplinary dissertations that address issues involving women and
gender. Fellows demonstrate a commitment to the study of women and gender, and they go on to shape their fields of study and teach new
generations of scholars and citizens.

Scholarship recipients must identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC) communities and LGBTQ, must be enrolled full-time or part-
time (six credits) for the funded term, and must be “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community.

Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Innovation Fellowships support graduate students in the humanities and social sciences who show promise of leading
their fields in important new directions. The fellowships are designed to intervene at the formative stage of dissertation development, before
research and writing are advanced. The program seeks to expand the range of research methodologies, formats, and areas of inquiry traditionally
considered suitable for the dissertation, with a particular focus on supporting scholars who can build a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable
academy.

receive no other funding during the term of the award are eligible to apply.
Researchers with long-term fellowships spend four to nine months immersed in the Newberry collection and in our community of learning. While
pursuing significant works of scholarship, they make discoveries, present works in progress, and take their projects to the next level.

The AERA Minority Dissertation Fellowship Program in Education Research seeks proposals from advanced graduate students who are from racial
and ethnic groups that are underrepresented in higher education. The Fellowship Program encourages studies that examine a wide range of
education research topics such as students’ school experiences, STEM education and learning, ethnic studies/curriculum; tracking; measurement of
achievement and opportunity gaps; English language learners; or bullying and restorative justice. Applicants can come from graduate programs and

The UCLA Activist-in-Residence program seeks to strengthen the infrastructure of social transformation by supporting local movement leaders,
community organizers, and artists with university resources. Conceptualized as a sabbatical, the residency allows for time and space to reflect upon
complex challenges, envision new campaigns and projects, and connect with university faculty, students, and staff. It is our objective to “turn the
university inside out” and invite artists, community organizers, and movement leaders to undertake power-shifting scholarship and pedagogy
