Assignment OBE 0034, Task 8

1. Clear communication: Immediate reactive approach of worker after listening to the accident
alarm.

2. Adequate Reporting of Accidents: While Worker C listens, the sound of the accident alerts
nearby workers and prompts them to immediately report the supervisor.

3. Presence of First Aider: When the supervisor informs the first aider, the on-duty first aider
starts to administer emergency first aid to the contractor.

4. Control Panicked Environment: The Supervisor removed Worker B from the incident spot
because worker B appeared panicked. The Supervisor understands Worker B and sends them
home.

5. Proper take care: When the Injured contractor is admitted in the hospital the supervisor tell the
first aider that stay with the injured contractor and monitor them.

6. Contact with Emergency Services: The first-aider tells the supervisor that they have contacted
the emergency services to be shifted in the hospital for further treatment.

7. Immediate Compliance: workers have begun to clear the fallen baggage to remove hazardous
consequences to avoid further incidents.
8. Active Decision: the supervisor instructed to cordon off the area to prevent any more tow trucks
9. entering the area to prevent other incidents.

10. Proper handling of the situation: The supervisor removed the worker from the incident place to
make him calm down and feel good to prevent the situation from getting worse.

Ans (B)

1. Trained First-Aider: In the absence of a supervisor on duty first aider is trained to tackle the
emergency situation.

2. Communication Procedure: blowing the emergency sound which communicates the situation
and everyone's responsibility

3. Emergency Services: While the Supervisor is off work, The first aider has idea to contact the
emergency services

4. First Aid Kits: The first-aider starts to administer emergency first aid to the contractor which
helps to mitigate severe consequences.

5. Knowledge of Potential hazards: The workers know to find the potential hazards begin to

clear the fallen baggage from the incident spot
