Introduction:
Planning is the basic step for any successful work. Whenever we think
about planning the steps come before us are realizing the present situation,
analysis of the demands and set up strategies to cope with such demands in
a sustainable way. For any educational Institution planning plays the most
significant role to establish a sustainable teaching-learning environment for
generations after generations.

For Subhas Chandra Bose Centenary College, like any other educational
institution planning and its deployment strategies have also changed with
progress of time and changes in demands. In late 1990s when the college
was established was with the target of basic facility of graduation for a
large number of students in the sub-division head quarter and its
surroundings. From the very day of establishment it had to face the
challenge of establishing its identity within an area where other colleges of
well infrastructure are already present. Considering the challenge and with
the target to set a true academic environment the journey for this college
was started.

Thrust areas of planning for this college:


✓ So far planning is implemented on:
➢ Establishing basic academic facilities in subjects of Humanities.
➢ Basic infrastructure to run a college.
➢ Establishing units participating in extensive activities.
➢ Steps to make the students employable.

✓ Planning with the target to reach a goal within 2025:
