Course Objectives
At the end of the course students will be able to:
▪ Demonstrate understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of computer
networking including network models and architectures
▪ Identify and analyse the latest networking technologies and standards
▪ Analyse real world examples of how networking technologies are used in various industries.
▪ Communicate effectively about networking concepts and technologies, both in writing and
orally.
▪ Apply critical thinking skills to analyze and solve networking problems in real world
scenarios.
▪ Work effectively in a team to design, configure and manage modern networks.
▪ Gain hands-on experience with network simulation tools such as packet Tracer
▪ Make informed and effective decisions related to designing, configuring, managing, and
troubleshooting computer networks.
▪ Identify and solve network issues, such as connectivity problems and performance
degradation.
▪ Reflect and evaluate their own learning progress, skills and knowledge gained in computer
networking
▪ Adapt to changing network environments, technologies, or requirements and quickly come
up with solutions to new challenges.
• Manage time effectively to prioritize and resolve network issues promptly.
