Grade 7
Bangalore International School
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for partnering with us in your child’s learning journey. It is a path marked by
exciting discoveries, filled with both highs and lows and thrilling eureka moments! Your unwavering support provides the solid
foundation that enables our students to progress academically and personally, and we are truly grateful for your involvement.
As we reflect on the first term, students have successfully settled into their new grade, engaging in a variety of stimulating
learning experiences. They have made significant progress, achieving key milestones in their academic and personal
development, and we are very proud of their efforts and the dedication they have shown thus far.
The first term report card offers a summary of your child’s academic performance, highlighting both areas of strength and
areas that could benefit from further attention. We encourage you to review the report card with your child, taking time to
celebrate their achievements and acknowledge the progress they have made. It is also an opportunity to discuss any areas
that may need improvement, setting clear goals for how they can continue to grow in the coming months. Your
encouragement and support in this process are invaluable in helping them reach their full potential.
We remain excited about the opportunities for growth and development that lie ahead in the next term, and are committed to
building on the foundation laid in this term, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to achieve their highest
potential.
Thank you once again for being such an integral part of our school community. Together, we will continue to make a positive
impact on your child’s educational journey.

Comment
Jaanvi is a capable and thoughtful student who demonstrates creativity and insight across her subjects. In the English
subjects, she produces well-structured responses, though refining sentence structures and ensuring consistent submission of
assignments will further enhance her performance. In Mathematics, she has shown improvement and independence, but
tackling more challenging problems and reviewing difficult concepts regularly will help achieve better results. In the Sciences,
her enthusiasm is evident, though focusing on strengthening conceptual understanding and participating more actively in
class discussions would be beneficial. In History, she has demonstrated potential, and with more thorough project work and
consistent effort, further improvement is within reach. Her progress in Spanish has been steady, and focusing on expanding
her vocabulary and strengthening her writing skills will support her continued growth. In Computer Science, she displays a
good grasp of concepts but she can benefit from improved focus and attention to detail. Her work in Geography has shown
noticeable progress, and greater participation in discussions will deepen her comprehension. In Theatre, she brings creative
ideas and works well in group settings, but challenging herself with more complex roles will build confidence and skill. Finally,
in Home Economics, she shows a clear interest in cooking and crafts, with neat and well-executed cross-stitch designs. With
continued effort and a proactive approach, she is well-positioned for success across all subjects. We wish her all the best as
she moves on ahead to her new school.
