DAY 1

January 27, 2025

Today is the official start of our immersion at the Local Government Center so I woke up at 3am to
prepare. That is why we arrived early at exactly 7:06 am. We waited for almost an hour before everyone
else arrived. During that time, I couldn't help but coverve my fellow immerents. Many writth official
logos an of them carthed folders wr the front, and some wer dressed in formal office attire Seeing them
made me feel unsure of myself. Their amazing appearance was intimidating that my 100% confidence is
slowly running away. But at the hours, went on, my doubts faded, replaced by a sense of relief and even
pride.

I noticed now of some of my fellow inmersants hehased. Despite their polished appearances, many
lacked docipline and respect. They were talking loudly to each other while the HR head was peaking,
answering Ma'am's question in a casual, jokong manner, ac if they were talking to other peers, and
taking pictures/videos of the girls who are on their uniform while going to the second floor wing the
steps that has gaps that is why their legs are visible to us below.

This experience taught me something important: looking good or appearing professional isn’t
enough if one’s behavior doesn’t match. I felt proud to be different. I may not have worn formal attire or
carried a folder with a logo, but I maintained respect and proper behavior throughout the experience.
For me, being simple and respectful is far more important than appearing polished but acting rudely.

In the end, I realized that what truly matters isn’t how we look or what we carry, but how we act
and represent ourselves in front of others. This immersion helped me value not just the appearance of
professionalism but also the discipline and attitude that should come with it.
