The Fall Of Death, Destruction And War
In the wake of death, destruction and war came the renaissance. The renaissance was an era of
cultural rebirth that swept across Europe during the 14th to 17th century . This era marked the time
in which man returned to their classical learning and values of ancient rome and greece and began to
change their attitude towards religion (history.com staff). While the renaissanceis in the past it
continues to live on throughout many different fields of art, theories and movements, however,
paintings tend to be most symbolic of what the renaissance era was. The Renaissance era was
faced with the hundred years war, the black death, classicism and the issues of religion such as the
distancing from church and humankind s search for the meaning of their existence and how life
works. With these ongoing issues renaissance paintings were often depicting images of war, death,
the values from ancient greece and rome and they became more secular as well. Additionally, the
artist began to develop new techniques such as linear perspective, realism, depth, symmetry, and
classicism. Artists also began to make use of light, detail anatomy, depict nature and focus on
individuals instead of groups of people. Leonardo da Vinci, is one of the most famous painters and at
15 was an apprentice to Andrea del Verrocchio (history.com staff). He was also an inventor, scientist,
doctor and philosopher and has been nicknamed the renaissance man (history.com staff). Da vinci is
an artist whose
Northern Right Whale Research Paper
The Northern Right Whale has been an endangered species since the late 1800s, with little signs
of ever recovering. The whale is also known as Eubalaena Glacialis True Whale ; it weighs 200
tons and is 42 62 feet long. It lives in the coastal water of Sweden, Greenland, Canada and the east
coast of the United States. Organizations like World Wildlife Fund or WWF have made efforts to
stop whaling and try to help the species recover. But with only 300 400 left in the population the
Northern Right Whale is going to need a miracle. The Eubalaena Glacialis can be found
swimming along the shores of the coasts of Sweden, Greenland, Canada and the east coast of the
United States. The whale is very easy to identify with its long dark grey body with a v shaped
blow hole and no dorsal fin (Endangered wildlife of the world). The whale is a very slow
swimmer, which is what made it an easy target for whalers. The whale has a massive arching
mouth that starts at its tiny pair of black eyes. It primary eats, zooplankton, copepods, euphausiids,
and cyprids (Endangered wildlife of the world). The whale travels in large groups but the social
structure is unclear to scientists. The life span of the whale is 50 years but there is few data on the
permanence of right whales (WWF.com).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the 1800s the Northern Right Whales were killed mainly because their bodies have oily fat,
which was used as a fuel at the time, they were also killed to make umbrellas, and whips
(Endangered wildlife of the world). Other reasons for the Northern Right Whale being endangered is
due to habitat pollution, Toxins, Climate and ecosystem change, Ruckus from whale watching
activities and noise from industrial activities. Also the death of the whales now is due to ship
collisions and entanglement in fishing gear has limited the population s recovery
Robert Frost s Poetry
In three words I can sum up everything I ve learned about life: it goes on (Robert Frost). March,
1874. The United States of America continues to recover from the effects of the Civil War. The
Reconstruction Era is in full swing and segregation is at a new high point. The Chinese were being
discriminated throughout California throughout the 1870s. In 1882, due to the high rate of Chinese
immigrants, the Chinese Exclusion Act was passed by Congress. This act meant that no Chinese
immigrant could enter the United States for a period of ten years. At the beginning of the new
century, the first World War began. As a result of World War One, art began to evolve. Publishers
across the globe documented about The Great War and gave insight to what... Show more content on

impact on not only American literature, but also American
The Public Life of Monuments
Part One: Notes on The Public Life of Monuments: The Summi Viri of the Forum of Augustus
Introduction: Monuments and Memory
Simple definition for monument: a structure created to commemorate a person or event. Monuments
are used to recreate/reconstruct the past, providing a simplified meaning to complex events. Highly
selective nature of society s collective memory. Monuments preserve the past, making one particular
historical interpretation or meaning of past events fixed or concrete. This creates the illusion of one
shared belief within a society.
However, the meaning of monuments evolve with the viewer. The authority of monuments derived
from their public s willingness to make their monuments and the essential illusions ... Show more

Role of International Relations
The political world has evolved and reshaped itself greatly throughout the history of mankind, with
its most important and distinctive change occurring during the period of 1945, the end of the Second
World War and 1989 which marked the end of the Cold War. The interaction of nation states is center
of politics on the international level, where the relationships of different nations dictates what events
occur in regards to, but not limited to war, peace, economic agreements, and foreign aide
involvement. These international interactions are becomingly progressively more distinguished by
non government actors such as the World Bank, and International Monetary Fund, a lesser need for
military power and in the decline in the power of the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Since 1945 the world has evolved immensely, with great power changes and ever changing
economies. Economic activity, in regards to expanded global trade and monetary policies being
formed, with the increased communication technology and globalization, has created a widespread
global interdependence. Nations rely more now than ever on other nation states for trade purposes
to maintain a consistent cohesion of their economies. With increased global interdependence came
a need for institutions to manage and control the actions between nation states and expand
economies into other outlets globally that were seen as foreign such as Asia and some parts of
Europe . Liberal Institutionalism, with the concept of higher need for such organizations as North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), IMF, and the World Bank, has became far more
important than any need for security and military needs that were seen at the beginning of our time
scope of 1945 1989. The Second World War was devastating to almost the entire world populace
and had a crippling effect on the world economies. It was only by the time of the Cold War that
many of the nations involved in the Second World War were beginning to reform and strengthen
their economies. Germany since the war has rebounded economically and become a strong economic
powerhouse within Europe. In Asia, countries such as Japan, Taiwan, China and Singapore have
seen prosperity and opened their trading to the global
Public Health Nursing ( Phn ) Uses The Nursing Process Essay
Public Health Nursing (PHN) uses the nursing process every day to help the community on a local,
state, and national level. The PHN is a vital part of the health care system because they are part of the
interdisciplinary team. The government on federal, state, and local levels rely on the PHN to uses
their nursing skills and critical thinking in order to provide information; which then influences
funding. PHN work in conjunction with the three core functions of public health, according to the
IOM, assessment, assurance, and policy development in order to provide patient centered care
(Allender, Rector, Warner, 2014).
Public health nurses (PHN) apply the nursing process , use data , and emphasizes
prevention...educating and empowering individuals in the community (Allender, Rector, Warner,
2014). Assessment includes, observing the environment, identify trends in the individual and see
how they relate to the community (Allender, Rector, Warner, 2014). The PHN uses morbidity and
mortality statistics to help find trends in communicable disease rates in order to prevent outbreaks
and to identify the community s needs (Allender, Rector, Warner, 2014). For example, the Burmese
population on the south side of Indianapolis is growing, therefore, they must follow up with
vaccinations and testing for present illnesses and comorbidities. One family was identified with an
outbreak of tuberculosis; which they had caught in their home land and brought with them to the
Nazi Propaganda During The Holocaust
Although the holocaust was a terrible and sad period in time, it was a brilliant work of
propaganda and other components used by the Nazis in WWII to get the Jews into concentration
camps. The Nazis were able to control the mass media and at the same time were able to warp the
minds of people to thinking Jews were the problem. In 1929, Josef Goebbels was named the chief
of propaganda by Hitler. Goebbels really didn t use extreme propaganda on people. He kept it
simple by using slogans and images in the media which over time won the people over. At first all
the propaganda was located in newspapers and other types of media. Later after Goebbels had the
public support, he would organize large political military rallies which would also help
Beverly Hillbilly Stereotypes
According to the TV program Beverly Hillbillies season 1 episode 2, I agree with the viewpoint
of Michelle Dean that this program exploits hillbilly, redneck, and white trash stereotypes. In this
TV drama, it depicts a story of a family who comes from the rural area in America and moves to
the Beverly hill, which is known as the wealthy neighborhood, and something that the urban people
think funny and silly happened to them. One of the most impressive plots is that, in this play, it
present those who are called the hillbillies as rude, dumb people that lack education. For example,
they don t know how to use a stove, and have no idea about what is a refrigerator, and even regard
a flamingo as a big chicken, which exaggeratively stereotyped the
Comparing Glaspell s Trifles And A Jury Of Her Peers
I Prefer Trifles over A Jury of Her Peers. Trifles is an interesting play because it appeals to the
sense of vision and hearing more than the short story. It is interesting to watch the body language of
the characters in Trifles. The body language enhances the understanding of the audience. For
example, two male characters and two female characters are seen effectively in the play. The play is
interesting to watch due to the appeal of the stage. The stage is brightly lit to enhance the focus of
the audience on the characters (K.E.G. Productions). The accent of the characters enables the
international audience to understand the social background of the play. The characters communicate
in an American accent and, therefore, the play depicts the happenings in the American society....

For example, she shows feminism in the play as the two women in the plays address the problem
without the involvement of the male investigators (Meyer 1038). The women investigators have
colorful yellow and red clothing. In the short story, the author focuses on the literary elements to
enhance the understanding of the audience. For example, imagination is applicable to the story. The
audience can imagine the dead John Wright, with the rope around the neck (Carpentier and Emeline
81). The short story has a clear format, with a proper start, mid section, and end stages. The story
has a strong theme of feminism due to the ability of the women to identify the cause of the death of
