DIFFERENT TASKS TO DO TO FOCUS THE SPECIMEN BEING OBSERVE UNDER THE MICROSCOPE

No. The 10-Task Challenge Performed/Not Point

Performed
1 Handle and Set-up the microscope on the flat table
properly.
2 Catch enough light by facing the mirror to the light
source and checking the diaphragm.
3 Check the tilt or the angle formed, then measure it
from the pillar to the middle of inclination joint.
4 Move down or lower the body tube using the course
adjustment knob.

5 Rotate the diaphragm to assure that enough light

will pass through to the stage.
Make sure when you look through the eyepiece,
you can see a bright white light in a circular form
6 Put or mount the slide on the stage and clip it using
the stage clip
7 Rotate the objective lens. Click the shortest
objective lens which is the scanner (4X).
8 Center the slide with the specimen on the stage.
Make sure that the specimen can be seen, though it
is blurred
9. Look through the eyepiece, use the coarse
adjustment and slowly move the body tube down.
You should now be seeing the a color aside from a
white bright light through the eyepiece
10 roll the fine adjustment knob to get the BEST
IMAGE or CLEAREST VIEW of the specimen
under the microscope slowly
