Install swing bearing (2) that is stamped with a "S" on the inner race relative to the
carbody and stopper (1) .

(3) Apply 8C-8422 Sealant between the mating surfaces of the gear group and the
upper frame assembly. Apply 8C-8422 Sealant between the mating surfaces of the gear
group and the carbody.

(4) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of 36 bolts.

Torque for 36 bolts ... 900 ± 100 N·m (660 ± 75 lb ft)

(5) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of 40 bolts.

Torque for 40 bolts ... 900 ± 100 N·m (660 ± 75 lb ft)

(6) Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock on the threads of eight bolts.

Torque for eight bolts ... 37 ± 4 N·m (27 ± 3 lb ft)

(7) Torque for bolt ... 5.4 ± 0.5 N·m (3.98 ± .36 lb ft)

(8) Torque for plug ... 60 ± 6 N·m (44 ± 4 lb ft)

(9) Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock on the threads of 12 bolts.

Torque for 12 bolts ... 37 ± 4 N·m (27 ± 3 lb ft)

(10) Insert corks into two holes which are marked "X".

(11) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the dowel hole.

(12) Torque for four bolts ... 28 ± 7 N·m (21 ± 5 lb ft)

(13) Remove the access cover after the swing bearing has been installed. Add 26 kg (57
lb) of Multipurpose Molybdenum Grease.
