kratos means ‘power’. Thus, democracy is a form of government in which the administration of the country is
run by representatives who are elected by people.

Ans It is true that some people think that democracy produces a less effective government because of the
following reasons:
(i) Democratic governments do not have a very good record when it comes to sharing information with citizens.

religion or race of linguistic group.
