Group formation
● Group size: 4 members. Exceptions must be approved by your tutor.
● Group members are assigned RANDOMLY and announced by your
tutor before 23rd February 2025.
● Group members are required to contribute actively to his/her group
work. Despite the report being a group assignment, group member’s
contribution is marked individually.
● Conflict resolution: Any possible conflicts should be handled
professionally and politely among group members before reporting to
your tutor for final decision.
● Dropout member(s): Any group member that quit the group without the
in-charged tutor’s permission will get zero for group report.
Research topic
Fintech (Financial Technology) has inserted significant changes to
financial sector worldwide. In this assignment, students are required to do
a research on ONE fintech innovation and discuss their impacts on
Vietnam‘s financial sector, including opportunities and challenges. In
addition, students are encouraged to recommend solutions based on their
knowledge and other countries’ experience.

focus on the chosen fintech innovation

Report format
1. Word limit:
▪ 8000 words (excluding Table of contents, Appendices)
▪ Penalty for wordy report: 1 mark deducted for each excess 100 words
2. Font:
● Font style: Times New Roman
● Font size:
○ Main text: 12-point font size
○ Headings:
■ Level 1 (Main heading): Bold, 14-point size
■ Level 2 (Subheading): Bold 12-point size
■ Level 3 (Sub-sub heading): Italicized or regular, 12-point size
3. Paragraph & Line spacing:
● Indent in the first line of each paragraph by 0.5 inches
● Avoid extra space between paragraphs
● Line spacing: 1.2

3. Tables, Figures, and Charts:
• These should be clearly labeled (e.g. Table 1, Figure 1).
• Provide a caption below each table/figure, explaining its contents.
• Don’t forget to translate the contents in the chart into English (if the
source of information is in another language)

spelling and formatting.
Report submission
● Submission deadline: 16:00 29 April 2025
● A soft copy of the report must be sent to your tutor before the
deadline.
● A hard copy MAY BE required by your tutor. This will be decided and
announced by your tutor at least 1 week prior to the submission
deadline.
Important notice on plagiarism and the use of AI tools
Any violation of students regarding plagiarism and irresponsible use of AI
tools to create the report’s contents will result in a ZERO mark.
