 ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing WIR MIR RFI of the any activities at the different stages of works and gets inspection from the
clients.
 Inspect the installation of conduit systems (PVC, EMT, RMC), cable trays/ladders, transformer units,
switchgears, MDBs, and DBs according to approved IFC drawings and specifications.

 Prepare technical submittals for electrical equipment and components to be used on site.

 Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance on-site to maintain a safe work environment.
 Verify installation, testing (Continuity, Insulation Resistance, Hi-Pot), and termination of LV, MV, I&C, and
building cables (direct buried and ducted).
 Inspect installation of indoor and outdoor lighting systems including poles and emergency lighting.
 Verifying Installation of Low voltage panel boards including DBs and MDBs.
 Review material submittals to confirm compliance with contract specifications and project requirements.
 Ensure materials/equipment delivered to the site meet approved submittal and quality standards.
 Verifying installation and testing of grounding/earthing systems and conduct earth resistance testing per
standards.
 Verify lighting and power layout installations based on IFC, revised, and coordination drawings.
 Verifying Installation of lighting layout as per the IFC drawing and as per the site requirement with
approved revised drawing and coordination drawing from PMT.
 Inspect exposed and concealed raceways (PVC/EMT conduits, trays/ladders, trunking) for compliance.
 Verifying ground resistance testing for electrical earthing system and noted the values according to the
standards.
 Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test records, and site observations.
 Conduct pre-inspection meetings to review quality control planning with contractors and subcontractors.
 Ensure proper labeling and tagging of cables, distribution boards, and electrical panels.
 Monitor calibration and certification status of all electrical testing equipment used on site.
 Provide technical support in resolving site issues, clearing punch lists, and during final inspections.

DESIGN OF DC – AC POWER CONVERTER FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY APPLICATIONS.
 The aim of the project is to design a full-bridge DC-AC power converter for PV solar application
that will have an input voltage of 350V and an output voltage is 220Vac @ 50Hz. the
maximum output power of the converter will be up to 1KW. The designed converter can be
used in any renewable energy application.
Term Projects
Semester projects:
 DC-AC Power Converter (Inverter)
Converts DC power from solar panels to AC power for grid/load use.
 Full-Bridge Topology
A common inverter configuration using four switches (MOSFETs/IGBTs) for efficient power
conversion.
 Renewable Energy Application
Specifically for PV (photovoltaic) solar systems but adaptable to other sources like wind or battery
storage.
 Specifications:
Input: 350V DC (typical for high-voltage PV arrays).
Output: 220V AC, 50Hz (standard household voltage in many
countries). Power Rating: 1KW (suitable for residential/small-
scale applications).
