• The system unit is the box-
like case that contains the
electronic components of a

• A mouse is a handheld
pointing device used to
position a cursor on a
computer screen.

• Main function of
a motherboard is to connect
all computer components
and to control them, to
accept inputs and provide
outputs.

UNIT
• The central processing
unit (CPU) of a computer is a
piece of hardware that carries out
the instructions of a computer
program.
RANDOM ACCESS
MEMORY
• Random-Access Memory is a
type of computer data storage
and stores the files that are in
use while the computer is
running.
VIDEO CARD
• A video card connects to the
motherboard of a computer
system and generates output
images to display. Video
cards are also referred to as
graphics cards.
LAN CARD
• LAN card is to create a
physical connection to
the network - to provide
an open 'door,' as it were.

(AVR) is a electronic device for
automatically maintaining
generator output terminal voltage

and operating temperature.

• An uninterruptible power supply
(UPS) is a device that allows a
computer to keep running for at
least a short time when the
primary power source is lost.
SYSTEM CASE
• The computer case serves mainly as a
way to physically mount and contain
all of the actual components
inside of a computer, like the
motherboard, hard drive, optical
drive, floppy disk drive, etc.
SPEAKERS
• Speakers is to produce
audio output that can be
heard by the listener.
PRINTER
• The function of a printer is to
turn digital data into printed
media. This could be text, or it
could be graphic output.
COMPUTER
MICROPHONE
• A microphone is a device that
captures audio by converting
sound waves into an electrical
signal.
HEADSET
• A headset is a hardware
device that connects to a
telephone or computer that
allow the user to talk and
listen while keeping their
hands free.
