Telerik UI for WPF

AI Coding Assistant

New feature

We’ve introduced the    AI Coding Assistant earlier this year - a powerful new tool that brings unprecedented productivity to your development workflow. Purpose-built and trained specifically on the Telerik UI for WPF component library, this assistant delivers production-ready code that adheres to our component APIs and best practices, minimizing the need for manual corrections. Whether you’re working in GitHub Copilot or an MCP-enabled editor like Cursor, the assistant intelligently understands your intent and generates high-quality, accessible, and design-consistent UI code.

Integrated into both the GitHub Copilot Extension and the MCP Server, the assistant adapts to your environment: the Copilot extension is ideal for quick guidance and smaller snippets with contextual explanations, while the MCP server excels at handling advanced prompts with complex, multi-step responses. With this AI-powered tool, developers can focus more on building great apps and less on boilerplate, bug-fixing, or searching documentation—dramatically accelerating the development cycle across all skill levels.

Q4 and moving forward, we are continuously enhancing the AI Coding Assistant based on user feedback, ongoing testing, and the latest AI advancements. Our goal is to make it even smarter, faster, and more reliable, so you can focus on building great applications while the assistant takes care of the heavy lifting.

This is part of our long-term commitment to bringing AI-powered innovation into Telerik for WPF, helping developers achieve more with less effort and setting the foundation for the future of intelligent application development.
