Descriptions
This is a log used for sword training. It can be cut with a sword along the direction of the notches.
Defense-training Log
This is a log used for defense practice. First, thrust your sword into the log to make it swing.
Next, quickly ready your shield. When the log swings back toward you, strike it with a well-timed shield bash.
Eight Logs can be found in the Sparring Hall at Skyloft, each marked with a different spot for Link to practice his Sword Strikes. If Link successfully destroys them all, Eagus will set up an additional ring of eight for Link to perform a Spin Attack, then one final Log to practice the Fatal Blow.
Breath of the Wild
Tears of the Kingdom
Logs are the cut-down remnants of Trees. They can be Fused with Weapons to create new Weapons, or they can be bonded together with the Ultrahand ability to form more complex Objects such as Rafts.
