The buzzsaw is an enemy in Doom: The Dark Ages | Revelations.

Pre-release[edit]
The buzzsaw was revealed in the reveal trailer for Revelations at 0:54 in a group with other demons, followed by a close-up at 1:00 and combat at 1:09. The buzzsaw can also be seen in the key art on the center of the right side below the pain elemental.
On June 18, 2026, the second episode of the second season of The Art of Slaying was released, which was dedicated to the buzzsaw and revealed its name. Game director Hugo Martin described this enemy as in the episode as an "invasive pressure unit" similar to the whiplash and as the "jouster".[1] Its concept art was published shortly after the episode was released.[2]

Trivia[edit]
- This demon resembles the carcass from Doom Eternal in some design details: one of its arms is replaced with a weapon, and the eyepiece and lower body have been replaced with mechanical parts, but the carcass has tripod legs whereas the buzzsaw moves on a single spiked wheel.
