  • At this year’s FT Live Business of Luxury Summit, Stephane de La Faverie, President & CEO, took the stage for a keynote conversation with Elizabeth Paton, Fashion Editor at the Financial Times. Their lively discussion centered on what it takes to lead an iconic company through transformation. Stéphane shared how our Beauty Reimagined strategy is positioning The Estée Lauder Companies to move with greater speed, agility and consumer focus — and why setting this foundation is essential for continuous, sustainable growth. The spirit of the summit extended beyond the stage. Jo Malone London created a created a bespoke scenting experience that wove the scents of candles, colognes and home fragrances — including English Pear & Freesia, Lime Basil & Mandarin, and Orange Blossom — throughout the outdoor setting. The immersive atmosphere encouraged guests to connect with one another — a powerful demonstration of how our brands create elevated, emotionally resonant moments that define enduring luxury.    Thank you to Elizabeth Paton and the Financial Times for the opportunity to join in the conversation surrounding the future of the luxury industry.

  • When Tara Simon, President, The Americas, The Estée Lauder Companies, and Kecia Steelman, President and CEO of Ulta Beauty, came together for a fireside chat hosted by The Estée Lauder Companies Women’s Leadership Network in New York City, one thing was undeniable: there was a shared passion to uplift others and elevate every woman in the room. In a conversation shaped by years of partnership and mutual respect, the two leaders reflected on their journeys—from Kecia’s start on the sales floor to leading one of the nation’s most beloved beauty retailers, and Tara’s role in driving growth and transformation for ELC across The Americas. Together, they explored what it takes to lead with authenticity, scale with purpose, and navigate an evolving industry. Some of the lessons they shared: • Own your story — challenges can become catalysts for growth • Lead through others — empowered teams are the foundation of success • Show up for each other — true leadership is rooted in allyship Grounded in a strong ELC–Ulta Beauty partnership, the discussion reinforced a shared belief: when women support women, they don’t just grow individually—they move the entire industry forward.

  • More than 30 years ago, Evelyn H. Lauder co-created the pink ribbon and sparked a movement. That movement raised over $9 million through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s 2026 Hot Pink Party in New York City. The Estée Lauder Companies was proud to join The Breast Cancer Research Foundation at the 2026 Hot Pink Party, an evening that honored the past, celebrated the present, and accelerated the future of breast cancer research. Hosted by our Breast Cancer Campaign Global Ambassador, Elizabeth Hurley, and co-chaired by William P. Lauder and Stephane de La Faverie, amongst others, the night was a powerful testament to what's possible when purpose-driven partnerships meet scientific innovation. The evening celebrated Anthony von Mandl, O.C., O.B.C., with the Evelyn H. Lauder Spirit of Philanthropy Award for his tremendous contributions to BCRF, and Angela Le with the Unsung Hero Award for her behind-the-scenes advocacy for breast cancer patients. Guests were moved by a special performance from Elton John, paying tribute to Leonard A. Lauder, BCRF’s Honorary Chairman, In Memoriam, and his enduring legacy and commitment to this cause. To date, The Estée Lauder Companies and its Charitable Foundation have funded more than $123 million to BCRF. “We’re here to celebrate the amazing researchers, first and foremost, and the incredible work they have done to help find a cure, as well as to celebrate the people who are the biggest supporters of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, because they provide the fuel that allows the researchers to advance progress.” — William P. Lauder We are honored to stand with every partner, advocate, and donor who showed up — for the researchers, for the patients, and for a future free of breast cancer. • The Estée Lauder Companies alongside William P. Lauder, Chair, Board of Directors, Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Tara Simon and Lisa Sequino was proud to help open the 2026 WWD Beauty CEO Summit-one of the industry’s most influential gatherings of global beauty leaders. William P. Lauder, kicked off the event with a fireside chat alongside Jenny B. Fine, Editor-in-Chief of Beauty Inc. The moment carried special meaning: nearly 30 years ago, Leonard A. Lauder opened the very first Beauty CEO Summit, helping to shape what has become a defining forum for our industry. During the conversation, William reflected on the enduring values that continue to guide our company—a commitment to integrity, respect for people, creative excellence, and the persistence to continually evolve—while also addressing the realities of today’s rapidly changing landscape.
▪️Change is the name of the game—success requires leading and embracing change as a constant and acting with speed and agility to stay ahead

▪️ Human connection is critical—even in an AI-driven world, creativity, community, and authentic engagement remain central to building trust and loyalty
▪️Innovation is table stakes—from new technologies to evolving consumer expectations, continuous innovation is essential to long-term growth The WWD Beauty CEO Summit continues to bring together the voices shaping the future of beauty—across brands, markets, and disciplines—and we are honored to be part of that ongoing dialogue.
