Bridge Foot

This document provides design details for the deck slab and girders of a foot bridge. It summarizes: 1) The total span is 2530mm wide with a 15000mm wide deck. The deck slab is 150mm thick reinforced concrete. 2) Cross girders are provided at the ends of longitudinal girders and over piers. Calculations are shown for dead and live load moments on cantilever and simply supported portions of the slab. 3) Reinforcement requirements are checked for flexure and shear. Girder design includes self-weight, slab weight, and other loads for dead load shear force calculations.
