Tank Shell Design

This document contains calculations for the shell plate design of a storage tank. It analyzes seven courses of A36 steel plate from the bottom to top of a 7 foot diameter tank that is 6 feet deep, to determine the minimum required thickness of each plate based on factors like stress allowances, corrosion, and tank dimensions. The thicknesses provided for each plate course are also shown to meet or exceed the calculated minimum requirements.
