"Money can't buy us happiness"
The song "Mukhang Pera" by The Youth, conveys that a lot of people now a days are
been controlled by the material things. It also tells that the money is our happiness that we also
tend to ask money to our God. It also conveys that we are not contented if we do not have a lot of
money, lastly it tells money makes the world around.
While listening to the song "Mukhang Pera" by The Youth, I felt sad and guilty. It's
saddening knowing that we're living in a materialistic society, where their happiness is controlled
or depends on the material things they have or they wanted to have. It made me felt guilty
because I know that sometimes I let the material things controlled my happiness, lot of us have a
dream of acquiring the things we wants and if we achieve the things we wants the happiness it
brings is unexplainable. But in the long run money can also cause bad things; we tend to not be
contented and appreciative on what we have and on what we just can. My parents always taught
us to be grateful for what we had, so even though we have just a little money, not too high
quality clothes and shoes we are still grateful and contented on what we have. Money can make
us happy but only for a while, but true happiness cost nothing.

IN YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, COMPARE AND CONTRAST ESSENCE VERSUS
EXISTENCE.
Philosophically speaking, essence is the is the property or set of properties that make an
element or substance what it on a very basic level is, and which it has by need, and without
which it loses its character. For me essence is the inside of us, it is our nature. Essence is the
one who define who we are and what we are. Essence is the thing that makes the thing what it
is. A thing can therefore, not be said to exist if its embodiment not decided. While existence, it
can be doubted very much whether existence is a perfection or degree of reality; for it can be
doubted whether existence is one of those things that can be conceived -- that is, one of the
parts of essence; or whether it is only a certain imaginary concept, such as that of heat and
cold, which is a denomination only of our perception, not of the nature of things (Gottfried
Wilhelm Leibniz, 1716). Existence for me is simply the state of living or existing and being
alive. Essence is the one who urges the existence, if a man has no essence he will not existing.
In able to exist one should know his essence first. Essence precedes existence.
