5. Qualities of an Effective Official (5 minutes)
A good official should have the following qualities:
1. Confidence – Believes in their decisions and does not second-guess
themselves.
2. Consistency – Applies the rules fairly to all players and teams.
3. Decisiveness – Makes quick and accurate decisions during gameplay.
4. Enjoyment/Motivation – Stays positive and motivated throughout the
game.
