ABOUT ME
I am an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and
Certified Quality Assurance Professional have extensive experience in supervision, execution and
quality assurance and control (QA/QC) for housing projects and power plants. My expertise
includes overseeing the successful execution of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with
industry standards, and minimizing risks. Additionally, I am familiar with industry local SEC, SASO, SBC
and International codes and standards like; NFPA-70E, IEEE, IEC, NEC, ISO, ANSI, ASTM, BS and NEMA.

• Ensure field supervisors/workers work safely on site and know their role
and responsibilities in safety when executing field activities.
• Execution of all Electrical, instrumentation and control system works are
carried out as per approved Drawings, Method Statements, Inspection
Test Plans and, relevant standards and procedures.
• Prepare and review Method of Statements (MoS), Inspection & Test
Plans (ITPs) and Inspection Checklists (ICLs) as per Project Specifications.
• To ensure all materials delivered to site are inspected through Material
Inspection Requests (MIRs) and conforms with Material approval
requests (MARs) to the specified requirements.
• Supervising Electrical, instrumentation and control works for Low voltage
(LV), Medium voltage (MV) wiring, fire alarm, HVAC, Lighting networks,
all power, control, instrumentation, and communications network
cables.
• Ensure cables installation with appropriate segregation and separation
for different applications and three basic categories, MV power; LV
power; and control/instrumentation. Segregation of these categories
shall always be maintained, and control/instrumentation cables shall
not be installed on the same tray or ladder as power cabling.
• Initiating internal Observations and NCRs in case found non-conformity
for effective implementation of project quality plan, ITP’s, written
procedures, method of statements, project specifications and, IFC
drawings etc. Ensure identification of root cause for the raised Non-
conformances/deviations and to implement corrective actions and

• Close liaison with subcontractors & other construction disciplines, on
daily/weekly basis participation in progress and quality meetings and
raising/solving the issues if any.
• Perform visual inspection and dimensional checks on all electrical &
Instrumentations related works such as cable trenches, cable trays
installations, cable pulling, wiring, conduit, junction box installations,
duct banks, local control board panels and equipment installation.
• Ensure materials handling, storage & preservation procedure are
implemented as per manufacturer recommendations/data sheets,
relevant codes and standards.
• Execution, supervision and Inspection for Lighting System Installation
and Illumination Testing.
• Execution, supervision and Inspection of Grounding System Installation
and Grounding Resistance Testing.
• Execution, supervision and Inspection for lightning protection system
installation and testing.
• Monitoring and witnessing the Inspection for Glanding, Splicing,
Termination, Meggering and HIPOT (Hi-potential test) for different types
of Electrical MV & LV Cables.

• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental procedures,
instructions, and controls so that the safety of employees and
environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
• Ensure that all Electrical, instrumentation and control system works are
carried out as per approved Drawings, Method of Statements,
Inspection & Test Plans and relevant standards and procedures.
• Prepare and review Method of Statements (MS), Inspection Test Plans

• Witnessing insulation resistance test (Meggering) for all instrumentation
and control cables.
• Witness inspections and tests according to approved inspection and
test plan (ITPs), preparing quality documentation and maintaining
records in QA/QC folders.
• Issue non-conformance reports against deviation from specification,
recommend corrective actions and followed up closure of NCRs.
• Reviewed inspection of loop folder, verified and checked all relevant
documents such as red line related to Electrical and instrumentation.
• Assist in the preparation review and updating of company’s Quality
control plan & QA/QC procedures in accordance with the ISO
9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Co-ordinate with construction team and raising Request for Inspections
(RFIs) with client project inspection unit for inspection & stage wise
activities for witness/hold point.
• Ensure that all testing and measuring instruments are in operational
condition before use and have valid calibration certificates, updating
and maintaining calibration log.
• Checking, verifying, reviewing the RFIs attachments with latest Issued for
construction (IFC) drawings, ITPs, Checklists, Test reports, MTCs & other
documents prior to submission to client.
• Performing Installation and or Test inspections as per approved ITP for
each phase for electrical and instrumentation activities arranging
inspection with client for final acceptance.
• Punch listing, processing & updating QC Dossiers & implementing the
QC plan & coordination with the client to final acceptance of plant
hand over.
