Materials and equipment:

a. Tomato seeds
B. Planting pots
c. Potting soil
d. Ruler or measuring tape.
e. Different light sources (e.g., natural sunlight, fluorescent lamp, LED lamp)
f. Watering can
g. Notebook and pen

Method or Procedures

1. Preparing the Planting Pots:


a. Fill each planting pot with the same potting soil.
b. Plant three tomato seeds in each pot about 1.5 inches deep.
c. Water the soil lightly after planting. Ensure that each pot receives with
the same amount water.

2. Grouping the Plants:


a. Dividing the planting pots into four groups: Group A, Group B, Group
C, and Group D.
b. Group A will be placed in an area receiving natural sunlight.
c. Group B will be placed under a fluorescent lamp for 12 hours a day.
d. Group C will be place under an LED lamp for 12 hours a day.
c. Group D will be covered with a opaque material and kept in darkness.

3. Observation and Data Collection:


a. Observe and record the growth of the tomato plants daily for four
weeks.
b. Measure the height of each plant using a ruler or measure tape.
c. Record any changes in the color of the plants.

4. Data Analysis:
a. Compare the height and colors of the potato plants in each group.
b. Use graphs or tables to represent your data.
