How did you attract/address your
audience?
HOW I AT T RACT ED T HE AUD IENCE
 For our coming of age film ‘Leaving Home’ I
attracted the audience by using teenager actors.
 Because our demographic area for our film is 16-
21 year olds, I knew that by using actors around the
same age the audience will be able to communicate
to the character.

Because our main
character is a teenage
male our audience will
want to watch it as it
adheres to what teenagers
look in a film, especially
females.
Also, by using teenage
actors I formed a
general illustration of
teenagers.
HOW I AD D RESSED T HE AUD IENCE.
 I addressed our audience by representing
teenagers as expressive and want to hang on to old
memories.
 I used the photo montage sequence to signify
this. Because this moment is showing all the
childhood memories it shows teenagers to be
emotional and therefore expressive.
HOW I AD D RESSED T HE AUD IENCE.
 Because I represented them in that way it would
reflex what they are going through in at this stage
of life.
 Therefore addressing their emotional side and
allow them to express it through the film as they
can use ‘Leaving Home’ as escapism.
