Despite the 55 minute wait, Carlos appeared kind and curteous. He helped resolve the issues and immediately asked if I needed further assistance.

My agent, Carlos Romero was quite helpful. However I was on hold for 53 minutes before being connected to an agent.
45 min to An hour wait time to change the phone number on my account is ridiculous.
that aside…
Carlos Romero, was fantastic. HE was 5 stars. He was clear, apologetic, quick, and thorough. He stayed on the line to make sure that I received the email and that I had all that I needed.
Justine was very thorough with helping me fix the issue with my domain email address. He was quick with knowing exactly how to fix the issue and only took minutes to do so.

Please do not do business with ZenBusiness.
As of January 29, 2026, my business shows as dissolved with the State of Georgia, despite the fact that I paid ZenBusiness to handle my annual registration renewal.
I originally registered my business with ZenBusiness to avoid legal or compliance issues and to ensure everything was handled properly. When it was time for my yearly state registration renewal for January 2025, ZenBusiness charged me $199. I later contacted them to question this charge, and they refunded $100, stating that the remaining $99 would be applied toward my state renewal.
However, as of January 30, 2026, my business has been dissolved. The State of Georgia informed me that they attempted to contact ZenBusiness regarding the renewal, but ZenBusiness never responded. Because the renewal fee was never submitted, my business was dissolved.
I have called ZenBusiness multiple times and sent several emails, but I have received no response. This issue did not occur because I failed to pay—it occurred because ZenBusiness failed to do the job they were paid to do.
I strongly caution others against enabling automatic payments. ZenBusiness continues to withdraw money while failing to complete required services, leaving customers to repeatedly fight for refunds and explanations.
Do business with ZenBusiness at your own risk.
Kevin was very knowledgeable and reassured me on things that were concerning to me and went over the details of what I was concerned about.

Carlos was extremely helpful. He researched my request. I never asked to have my EIN canceled. Asked to have my tax income canceled. He found the error and expedited to remedy the situation.

Terrible Experience. One hour or greater hold times to call them or chat with them. They didn't follow through and I ended up just using AI to generate my articles of organization and filed them with the state. They took my money and never did any work and now hide behind some call center that is not based in the US. I had paid for the "1 day service" but in the end I lost faith in them and did it on my own in less time than it took waiting on hold. It's super easy to do on your own and its faster without them. Total waste of time company.

Carlos was able to address my questions and help me submit a request as needed

efficient and responsive and polite. A little hard to understand due to accent- please speak a little slower next time but otherwise very good. The wait time was short once I was tranferred from the business services. I have complaint about the wait time for the business services side, however- nearly an hour late is really unacceptable.

Aaron made my experience worth the 5 stars. I was originally very frustrated with the wait time, but once he answered and explain how in depth the process was, I could appreciate the interaction more.

🚫 Case File: ZenBusiness - Refusal to Cancel
CANCELED!
We talk a lot about businesses refusing refunds or ignoring contact, but sometimes they take it to the next level. This is a real story about how one of the Bad Business Boys had to fight a major online service provider, ZenBusiness, just to get an account officially closed.
The Problem: A Cancellation Nightmare
I had decided to move my LLC filing services away from ZenBusiness. I followed their process, but they did what many bad businesses do: they introduced bureaucratic friction.
• First Refusal: I requested cancellation, and their customer service team stalled, claiming I needed to do complex, state-level paperwork before they could process the cancellation on their end. They essentially put the full burden on me, making the process frustratingly difficult.
• The Auto-Renewal Trap: Since they refused to process the cancellation, the next annual fee hit. I disputed the charge, as I had clearly notified them of my intent to cancel well in advance.
The Escalation: Sent to Collections
Here’s where it went from frustrating to flat-out predatory. Instead of resolving the billing dispute, ZenBusiness SENT MY ACCOUNT TO COLLECTIONS for the disputed annual fee.
I was getting calls and letters from a collections agency over a service I had formally tried to cancel! This is a classic tactic used to scare and intimidate customers into paying unfair charges just to protect their credit score.
The Resolution: Calling in the Bad Business Boys
This is what we do best. The fight had to escalate, and the paperwork had to be perfect.
1. Documentation is King: We compiled every single email, chat transcript, and cancellation request that proved I had attempted to cancel the service well before the renewal date.
2. The Counter-Attack: We filed a detailed complaint with several agencies, specifically detailing the refusal to cancel, the auto-renewal, and the collections threat. This got their attention immediately.
3. The Win: Within days of the official complaint, ZenBusiness contacted me directly. They acknowledged the error, processed the full cancellation, and most importantly, pulled the debt back from the collections agency, ensuring no negative impact to my credit report.
🔥 Our Takeaway
Never let a business use the threat of collections to strong-arm you into paying for services you cancelled or never received. This is exactly why the Bad Business Boys exist.
If you are dealing with a company that:
• Refuses to cancel an account.
• Sends you to collections over a fraudulent or disputed charge.
• Is giving you the runaround on a refund.
Don't fight it alone and don't let them win! We know the pressure points and the exact steps to force a resolution.
