Donna M @DMau6 Oct 3, 2026 Experiencing Megan and Andrea’s beautiful, magical, breathtaking love story is a gift they’ve given us in this documentary about life. It is raw, poignant and powerful storytelling that I felt as if I was with them through it all, lost in the best way possible. It’s a story about living life to the fullest, being courageous, and vulnerable through the sorrow, joy and embracing each moment. When I laughed it was true belly laughs and when I cried it was ugly crying at its best. Megan amazes me today, the strength she shows so gracefully through grief. I’m grateful we have Andrea’s words that will live on forever to inspire others. I would’ve love to have seen them read their poetry IRL and hope to someday see Megan. Highly recommend, one of my new favorites. If you’re not a fan of poetry I can promise you will be after watching this, Exceptional in every way. See more

Lamb T @Lamyo Sep 7, 2026 I didn`t realise how much I would love this film as it wasn`t at all what I expected. Emotional without melodrama and the wonderful poetry will touch your heart. A wonderful film about facing an inevitable tragic end with courage and beauty. See more

Eye C @ECinc Aug 23, 2026 This is a great example for a willing to live, what an extraordinary life. And also so sad. See more

David F @dfulmer Aug 20, 2026 A very well-made, if sad, documentary about poetry and cancer. See more

Nate S @smithn1124 Jul 12, 2026 Come See Me in the Good Light was warm, uplifting, and real, and though I don’t think it has the juice to take on the political docs it’ll be competing against at the Oscars, its celebration of the life and work of Andrea Gibson deserves that love. See more

Vixo S @vixo_six Jun 11, 2026 Come See Me in the Good Light is an intimate and restrained documentary about love, illness, poetry and the meaning of time when the future becomes fragile. Ryan White avoids turning pain into spectacle, choosing instead to stay close to conversations, silences and the small spaces where people try to give shape to fear. Its greatest strength is the use of language. Words become a way to process reality, preserve connection and keep creating even when life feels uncertain. The film is less interested in illness as tragedy than in how people continue to live, love and make meaning within it. Its slow and contemplative rhythm can create distance, and the story may not move every viewer with the same immediacy. Still, its honesty gives it value. It leaves a quiet reflection on art, affection and the courage of loving when time is limited. See more
