In combination with a top-notch cast, witty dialogue and solid action, that tone is the show’s not-so-secret weapon -- the thing that allows it to glide over any narrative pitfalls it might hit along the way, if not always to avert them completely. Go to Full Review

It does a fine job illustrating why anyone trying to manipulate our feelings for their own gains is not to be trusted; why compassion for our fellow man is what saves us, rather than what holds us down. Go to Full Review

A rare TV affair that wholly avoids lulls, its writing as brisk and cutting as its performances are nuanced and compelling. Go to Full Review

It’s a comic book spy thriller stuffed with cartoonish violence. Go to Full Review

These six episodes are immensely bingeable. Fast-paced, sharp-witted and immensely funny, this is Netflix at its best. Here is hoping the streamer makes the right decision and gives us 10 more seasons of 'Black Doves'. Go to Full Review

While Black Doves uses its return as an opportunity to build out an even bigger world around the core characters, it does so without sacrificing the blend of action thrills and dark comedy at its heart. Go to Full Review

Ferenc C @fffeco 2 hrs ago Who write these simple minded scripts????? See more
George W @Georgeaw2409 2 hrs ago It's good fun but my word the scripts are awful, literally all over the place, very inconsistent storytelling, jumps from serious to comical very bluntly and watching Kiera Knightly saying the C word is really hilarious. Jeez, this show is just full of posh people trying not to be posh and failing very badly at it. It's also quite boring watching endless amount of 'special forces' easily been picked off one by one without anyone receiving a scratch, almost like a computer game. Everyone feels safe, never feel like a character is going to die, so every 'tense' moment has little to no impact at one point my fiancee and I were on our phone during a shootout as it was so boring. It just fails so much and thats a shame because it is a great cast but the writing is really pedestrian. Oh and how on earth can one of the characters own a massive flat in Chinatown! Feels like someone watched Slow Horses and aimed the second season into that direction without realising how good Slow Horses is. See more
