I – Objectives:
A. Content Standard:
The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-
American literature and other text types serve as means of
connecting to the world; also how to use ways of analyzing one-
act play and different forms of verbals for him/her to skillfully
perform in a one-act play.

B. Performance Standard
The learner skillfully performs in one-act play through
utilizing effective verbal and non-verbal strategies and ICT
resources based on the following criteria: Focus, Voice, Delivery,
and Dramatic Conventions.

Preparation: (Prayer, Setting of Classroom Standards, Checking of
Attendance)

“Arrange Me”
Directions: Each group will be provided with manila paper where they will paste
their answer and they will be given 1 envelope with the rumbled
letters of type of biases and prejudices. After the activity, ask the
students to read them in chorus.
C. EXPLORATION
“Key in”
Directions: Read and analyze the paragraphs below. Work in 3 groups. Let the
leader pick one strip in a different shape (could be a rectangle, circle
or oblong) with the task in it.
Task 1 - Determine the sentence or part of the paragraph that shows bias
Task 2 - Determine the sentence or part of the paragraph that shows prejudice.
Task 3 - Identify the keyword being described by the paragraph and the image by
arranging the given clue letters of this keyword. Present your work on
the board.
