Hardened squit, bred for battle in the Colosseum of Fools. Tougher and more aggressive than its wild ancestor.

Armoured Squits are enemies in Hollow Knight. Members of the Squit species, they are descendants of their wild ancestors, bred for battle in the Colosseum of Fools.[1][2]

Behaviour and Tactics

Behaves exactly like regular Squits, but with a health boost. It remains stationary until the Knight comes within range. Once engaged, it hovers a short distance away before flying directly at the Knight with its sharp proboscis raised. As it does not change direction during this charge, jumping or dashing over/through it is enough to avoid this attack.

Attacking an Armoured Squit mid-lunge changes its trajectory in the direction it is hit. They are most dangerous when grouped with other enemies, so it is best to take them out with one single hit of a Nail Art or Spell.

Location

Armoured Squits can be found in the Colosseum of Fools, in the Trial of the Conqueror and in the Trial of the Fool. Additionally, they can be spawned by the Collector in the Godmaster content Hall of Gods on Ascended difficulty or above, and in the Godmaster content Pantheon of Hallownest.
